Ras Al Khaimah Breaks Tourism Records With 1.28M Visitors in 2024

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) announced a record-breaking 1.28 million overnight visitors in 2024. This milestone represents a 12% increase in tourism revenues and a 15% rise in MICE visitors, aligning with the emirate’s vision to attract 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030.

New direct flights from key markets like Poland, India and Saudi Arabia played a major role in this growth. Luxury hospitality developments, including Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort and Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort with the region’s first overwater villas, further enhanced Ras Al Khaimah’s appeal.

World-class events such as the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Championship and a record-breaking New Year’s Eve drone display further cemented its status as a tourist destination.
