Red Sea International Film Festival Reveals Opening Film 'Giant'
Red Sea Film Foundation CEO said it was easy to pick 'Giant' as opening film.
                The Red Sea International Film Festival announced the opening film of the festival’s upcoming fifth edition as ‘Giant’, written directed by Rowan Athale, and starring Egyptian actor Amir El Masry and Irish star Pierce Brosnan.
 
The film is a biographical sports drama following the life of British-Yemeni boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed and his journey to world champion. It premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.
“It was incredibly easy to choose Giant as the opening film,” said CEO Faisal Baltyuor at the Red Sea International Film Festival 2025 press conference, “The entire directorial committee agreed on it.”
