Saudi Arabia Industrial Production Up 9.3% in September 2025

Saudi Arabia’s industrial production rose 9.3% year-on-year in September 2025, covering extractive industries, manufacturing, utilities, and water and waste services, the General Authority for Statistics announced.

Mining and quarrying activity increased 11.0% year-on-year in September 2025. Manufacturing output grew 6.3% year-on-year over the same period. Within utilities, output in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose 12.6% year-on-year. Water supply and waste management activity increased 9.2% year-on-year.

The data also reported a 10.1% rise in the oil sector in September 2025 compared with September 2024. Non-oil industries expanded by 7.3% year-on-year.
