Saudi Arabia Welcomed 18.5 Million Pilgrims for Hajj & Umrah in 2024

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted over 18.5 million pilgrims for Hajj and Umrah in 2024. The milestone was highlighted during the fourth edition of the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah by Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq al-Rabiah.

The number reflects the Kingdom's efforts under the directives of King Salman and the support of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Enhancements to the al-Rawdah al-Sharifah visit process at the Prophet’s Mosque increased visitors from 4 million in 2022 to more than 13 million in 2024.
