Saudi Cultural Fund Launches Nama’ Accelerators for Artisan Businesses
The programme begins with a focus on the handicrafts sector, offering support to artisans.

The Cultural Development Fund (CDF), in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the Quality of Life Program, has launched the Nama’ Accelerators initiative to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Saudi Arabia’s cultural sector. The programme is part of the Kingdom’s wider Vision 2030 framework, which aims to diversify the national economy and develop cultural industries.
Nama’ Accelerators is designed to assist entrepreneurs operating in the handicrafts sector by providing business development training, mentorship, and access to funding. The programme seeks to enhance production standards, improve market access, and support sustainable growth within traditional crafts.
The current phase focuses on the handicrafts track, targeting Saudi artisans and craftspeople working in fields such as pottery, textiles, woodworking, and metalwork. Participants will receive both technical and business guidance tailored to their specific sector. Financial incentives will also be available to assist businesses in scaling operations and reaching new markets.
Future phases of the programme are expected to expand into other cultural fields, in line with broader efforts to professionalise and grow the creative economy. The initiative is part of a series of national strategies aimed at improving the quality of life through cultural participation, job creation, and sectoral innovation.
