The council also transferred operational licensing for production studios and content production to the Film Authority, aiming to streamline the licensing process.
Discounts on cinema ticket revenues were approved to incentivize private sector participation and expand the cinema market, supporting Saudi Arabia's position as a regional filmmaking hub.
