Egyptian authorities have successfully recovered seven ancient artefacts from the United States, following coordinated efforts by the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, DC, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The returned items include an Ushabti statue, an amulet of the god Set, a stone scarab, two stone human heads, a mummified falcon head, and a mummified fish.
The latest recovery follows similar restitutions in recent months, including the return of 36 smuggled artifacts from the United States last November.
