Smart Luggage Storage Service Introduced at Two Holy Mosques
The new service will ensure the protection of luggage and allow for faster retrieval.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a new smart luggage storage service.
This service allows worshippers to quickly retrieve their luggage after performing their rituals, thanks to six dedicated luggage collection gates at both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. Pilgrims can leave their luggage securely before entering the mosque and pick it up later at the storage centers or designated collection points at the main entrances.
The luggage storage shelves are equipped with continuous monitoring systems to ensure the safety of the items. Additionally, the service provides bracelets with unique codes to track each piece of luggage. Luggage retrieval is facilitated by scanning a QR code to verify ownership.
Luggage storage centers are located in the eastern courtyard, near the Makkah Library, opposite Gate No. 64, and in the western courtyard at Shobaika.
