Spotify & Dubai Culture Sign Agreement to Support Local Musicians
A new partnership aims to support Dubai-based musicians through data sharing, insights and music-led programmes.
Spotify and the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at supporting the growth and long-term sustainability of local musical talent in Dubai.
The agreement focuses on helping artists build viable careers through coordinated initiatives, including the sharing of insights, data and analytics, alongside practical support tailored to the needs of UAE-based musicians. Under the memorandum, Spotify and Dubai Culture will develop joint programmes and music-led projects designed to serve the emirate’s creative community.
Spotify said the agreement aligns with its existing regional initiatives, including RADAR Arabia and the Fresh Finds Arabia playlist, both of which spotlight emerging artists from the region.
