The ERC Sends Aid Convoy with 37,900 Garments & 9,900 Blankets to Gaza

Egypt dispatches 111th aid convoy into Gaza, delivering more than 6,160 tonnes of assistance as worsening winter conditions intensify the humanitarian crisis, according to the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC).

The convoy included food, medical supplies, fuel, winter clothing, blankets, and tents, with nearly 38,000 winter garments and close to 10,000 blankets among the items dispatched. Food parcels and flour made up the largest share of the shipment, alongside medicines, relief supplies, petroleum products, and personal care items.

According to official figures, the operation has been carried out in coordination with dozens of countries and backed by hundreds of relief flights and maritime shipments. Egypt has also enabled the entry of ambulances into Gaza, provided fuel, and supported the deployment of field hospitals and other medical services.

The latest convoy comes amid worsening humanitarian conditions across Palestine. This week, UNRWA reported that more than 12,000 Palestinian children remain forcibly displaced in the occupied West Bank following ongoing Israeli military operations, prompting the agency to expand emergency education and psychosocial support programmes.
