Upper Egypt's Train Station in Bashteel Begins Operation Today

The new Bashteel train station - considered the largest train station in Egypt - begins operations on November 7th.

Encompassing 10 platforms, the new Bashteel train station is three times bigger than Ramses station and can accommodate up to 250,000 passengers daily.

Initiated through a partnership between Hassan Allam Holding, the Ministry of Transport and the National Railway Authority, the station was built at a cost of EGP 350 million.
