World Economic Forum Global Meeting To Be Held In Jeddah April 2026
The Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting themed Building Common Ground and Reviving Growth follows an initial 2025 announcement and will convene leaders in Jeddah on April 22nd to 23rd, 2026.
The World Economic Forum’s Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting: Building Common Ground and Reviving Growth will be held in Jeddah on April 22nd to 23rd, 2026. Details for the regular high-level meeting were confirmed at the close of the Forum’s 56th Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal F. Alibrahim, confirmed the dates and format, following an initial announcement at the 2025 Annual Meeting. He underlined the need for “pragmatism and collaboration” amid geopolitical fragmentation. “Stability needs to be founded, nurtured, protected, reinforced, and guided. Stability is non-negotiable,” he said. He added that no single convening can resolve every global challenge, describing each meeting as “an opportunity for us to be resolute and deeply invested, and for us to build the culture that allows cooperation to function in the first place”.
The Jeddah meeting aims to build on the momentum of a World Economic Forum Special Meeting previously held in Riyadh. World Economic Forum President Børge Brende noted the Forum’s deepening engagement with Saudi Arabia and said the gathering is intended to create space for leaders to work together, build trust, and ensure dialogue leads to collaboration and action. The meeting will convene public and private stakeholders in Jeddah under the Global Collaboration and Growth banner on April 22nd to 23rd, 2026.
