Your Guide to Attending the Cairo Book Fair This January

The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, has established 11 bus lines to facilitate transportation to and from the 55th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair. 

These lines operate 115 cars with an average travel time of 20 minutes. The bus lines are as follows: Line No. (1) Abdel Moneim Riad (10 cars), Line No. (2) Shubra Roundabout (10 cars), Line No. (3) New Nozha (8 cars), Line No. (4) Al-Amiriya (7 cars), Line No. (5) Giza Square (10 cars), Line No. (6) Saqr Quraish (5 cars), Line No. (7) Al-Mathallat (8 cars). 

Additionally, there are lines that cross the Al-Mosheer axis, including Ahmed Helmy, Third Settlement and Abdel Moneim Riad, the American University in Cairo and East Shubra El-Kheima, and Boulaq Al-Dakrour.

On another note, the Book Authority has decided to maintain the entry ticket price at EGP 5. 

To streamline the ticketing process, interested individuals can register on the official website or utilise the keywords on the Google search engine. By providing personal information such as name, phone number, email, age, nationality and gender, attendees can secure their visit to the exhibition. Upon completion of the registration, visitors will receive a copy of the ticket via WhatsApp and email, including the entry gate and designated day of visit.
