AD: Across H by HUNA Introduces Sculptural Modern Villas in Jumeirah
HUNA’s ‘Across H’ offers 14 modern villas with energy-efficient systems, private pools, rooftop terraces, light-filled interiors, and layouts for multi-generational living.
On Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah, where fast traffic and a busy skyline make it easy to miss things if you’re not paying attention, ‘Across H’ - a boutique collection of villas - settles quietly across from H Residence with the kind of presence that makes you slow down.
The development is made up of 14 villas, and that number matters. In a city that often builds in multiples of tens or hundreds, ‘Across H’ feels deliberately contained. It reads more like a private street, with homes aligned quietly behind softened façades, set back just enough to feel removed from the road without retreating entirely from it.

Architecturally, the villas rely on restraint. Curved forms replace sharp edges, and shading is built directly into the structure rather than layered on afterwards. From the outside, the buildings look contemporary but not experimental, more concerned with longevity than visual impact. They are designed to stay relevant as the neighbourhood continues to evolve around them.

Inside, the planning is pragmatic. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames private gardens and pools, drawing light deep into the living spaces without putting them on display. Open-plan living and dining areas are sized for everyday use, while kitchens are split between show and preparation, a familiar but practical arrangement for homes that expect to host and nurture good memories.
The five-bedroom layouts suggest an understanding of how families in Dubai change over time. Spaces accommodate extended households, visiting relatives, or the gradual shift from shared living to greater privacy. Storage, custom wardrobes, and circulation are not afterthoughts. Materials are simple: timber parquet, neutral surfaces, finishes chosen for durability as much as appearance.

Up on the rooftops, the city reappears. The Burj Khalifa is visible from there as a distant marker. It’s a sign of proximity: Downtown is minutes away, Dubai Marina roughly 20, with access points that allow residents to avoid the main road when the city predictably slows to a crawl.

‘Across H’ isn’t isolated. It forms part of a broader HUNA neighbourhood that includes H Residence, a mixed-use residential destination home to cafés and dining concepts such as Café Kitsuné, Nac, and Cipriani Dolci, as well as H Corner, where Kumo Japanese restaurant and The Rug Company anchor a growing cultural and retail offering. 'Across H' is building on this momentum with its own curated retail component, creating a dynamic and evolving streetscape that complements the boutique nature of the villas while enhancing the wider neighbourhood experience.
Across H reflects a shift in how residential projects are being approached - with clearer intent, and more focused on fitting into the fabric of an established area rather than standing apart from it.
