AlUla Skies Festival Soars Above the Saudi Desert Starting April 18th
AlUla Skies Festival will feature activities like hot-air balloons, astronomy workshops and more.

Amidst the dunes of AlUla, people will be able to gaze at the stars and float amidst the clouds at AlUla Skies Festival from April 18th to the 27th.
At the epicentre of the festival is AlUla Manara, a global observatory specialising in astronomy, as well as space science research and education. Throughout the festival, the facility will invite guests to marvel at and explore the wonders of the universe via cutting-edge telescopes, and host a variety of exhibits and astronomy workshops.
Guests can fly on hot air balloons daily and enjoy the stunning view from above. Balloon rides at Old Town and Elephant Rock are also available, providing a view of the ancient sites. As the night approaches, the festival’s Balloon Glow Shows will light up the sky with 12 illuminated balloons, along with synchronised music and aerial performances.
For music lovers, the festival is treating you on Friday, April 25th, with a plethora of regional artists performing at Thanaya AlUla Outdoor Venue. As for cinephiles, you will also get to enjoy a movie screening under the stars at Maraya. The festival’s ‘Moonlight Yoga Sessions’ meanwhile will allow you to reconnect your chakras in a more celestial setting.
