Relax Scent Releases ‘Got Your Back’ Candle for Autism Awareness Month

Cairo-based fragrance studio Relax Scent has long built its identity around the idea that certain scents carry emotion.

This April, that belief takes on a deeply personal dimension. In collaboration with the Egyptian Autistic Society - a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping children with autism and their families - Relax Scent has released ‘Got Your Back’, a limited-edition candle where 15% of proceeds will be donated to the organisation.

  Hand-poured in small batches using the studio’s coconut soy wax blend, the candle is scented in Chocolate Caramel, a fragrance chosen not by Relax Scent’s founder, but by her sister. Her sister, who has autism, is the quiet inspiration behind everything the candle stands for - from the cause to the scent itself.

"Got Your Back acknowledges the role of siblings," reads the brand's description of the candle, "the protectors, the companions, the ones who show up, always." Available exclusively throughout April for Autism Awareness Month, proceeds from sales will be donated directly to The Egyptian Autistic Society to support their ongoing programs for children and families.
