Riyadh Zoo Opens Up With New Interactive Experiences for Riyadh Season

Riyadh Zoo is offering visitors of all ages new interactive and educational experiences as part of its third year participating in Riyadh Season. Via the WeBook booking platform, the public can enjoy free access to explore the zoo’s collection of over 1,400 animals from 190 species, housed in environments that mimic their natural habitats.Highlights include the Croc Cave, a secure viewing deck where visitors can observe the zoo’s crocodile collection; the Bird Zone, where guests can interact with and feed exotic bird species; and the Kangaroo Yard, where they can take photos with Australia’s most iconic animal.Additionally, a new bird show features trained birds performing entertaining tricks. The zoo’s educational offerings are further enhanced by an interactive farm experience, allowing visitors to engage with nature and animal life through hands-on activities.Originally established in 1957 as the private menagerie of King Saud, Riyadh Zoo is located in the Al-Malaz neighborhood. It spans 161,000 square meters and operates daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The venue also offers food stalls and mobile food trucks to cater to visitors throughout the day.
