Eid Al Adha School Break in UAE Set for May 25th to 29th

A nine-day school break will take place across the UAE at the end of May, as the midterm holiday for the third academic term aligns with Eid Al Adha. According to the Ministry of Education, the break will run from May 25th to May 29th for students, teachers, and administrative staff. When combined with the weekends before and after, the total holiday period extends to nine days, with classes resuming on June 1st.
The schedule follows the approved academic calendar for the final term of the current school year and precedes a series of key academic milestones. Mock examinations are set to take place on June 15th and 16th, followed by a public holiday marking the Islamic New Year on June 17th.
End-of-term examinations will begin on June 24th and continue until July 3rd, which also marks the final official school day for students. Makeup exams for the third term are scheduled between July 6th and 9th. Results for the academic year will be reviewed and released on July 12th and 13th, with re-sit examinations taking place from July 14th to 17th. Final re-sit results are due to be issued on July 20th.
During the same period, administrative and teaching staff will participate in specialised training programmes from July 13th to 17th, before summer leave begins on July 18th following the completion of examination and training responsibilities.
