Grand Egyptian Museum's Interactive Experiences Are Free on May 18th
Visitors to the Grand Egyptian Museum can access the Children’s Museum, Discovery Challenge, and Mixed Reality Experience free of charge for International Museum Day.
The Grand Egyptian Museum will offer free access to three of its interactive attractions on May 18th as part of this year’s International Museum Day celebrations.
Visitors will be able to enter the GEM Children’s Museum, the GEM Discovery Challenge, and the GEM Mixed Reality Experience throughout the day without additional charge.
The experiences are usually ticketed separately from standard museum entry. The initiative is part of the annual International Museum Day observance held every May 18th by museums and cultural institutions worldwide. This year’s theme, ‘Museums Uniting a Divided World’, highlights the role of museums in fostering cultural understanding and public engagement.
The museum will also host live performances, creative workshops, and interactive activities across its grounds during the day-long programme.
