Monorail East Nile Subscriptions Offer 50% Discount Across 22 Stations

A 50% discount is available on Monorail East Nile subscription plans for passengers travelling between Cairo’s eastern districts and the New Capital, with weekly, monthly and quarterly options covering all 22 stations on the line.

The Ministry of Transport has divided subscriptions into four zones based on distance travelled: one zone covers five stations, two zones cover ten, three zones cover fifteen, and four zones cover the full line.

Weekly subscriptions are valid for 14 days and 14 rides, priced at EGP 140 for one zone, EGP 280 for two, EGP 385 for three and EGP 560 for four.

Monthly subscriptions are valid for 60 days and 60 rides, costing EGP 600 for one zone, EGP 1,200 for two, EGP 1,650 for three and EGP 2,400 for four. Quarterly subscriptions are valid for 180 days and 180 rides, with prices ranging from EGP 1,800 for one zone to EGP 7,200 for the full line.

For passengers continuing into the New Capital, the Government District station is connected to Akta-operated buses serving ministries, residential areas and government districts.
