Wezza Montasser has cemented himself as one of the most influential producers in the Egyptian scene. His rise to prominence coincided with the trap-shaabi movement in 2018.

As both a rapper and producer, he's built a respected reputation through collaborations with Wegz, DizzyTooSkinny and many others.

Now, Wezza embarks on a journey of self-discovery and sonic reinvention. In a conversation with SceneNoise, he discusses what awaits us on his upcoming album, 'Soot El Matarya'. Wezza teases an exploration of Brazilian funk, Afrobeat and R&B influences.
