Elyanna Releases Arabic Version of Bollywood Hit 'Deewani Masani'

Fresh off her India tour with Coldplay, Palestinian-Chilean superstar Elyanna releases ‘Kayani’, an Arabic version of the iconic Bollywood hit ‘Deewani Mastani’.

Originally sung by Indian singer-songwriter Shreya Ghoshal and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Deewani Mastani’ was featured as the official track of the award-winning film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

On ‘Kayani’, Elyanna keeps the core of the original arrangement intact, colouring it with her flirty sirenic vocals and a touch of warm Middle Eastern percussion and pop undertones. The song is accompanied by a music video shot in Mumbai, featuring snippets of her roaming the city’s streets, performing the song on Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres' tour, and belly dancing with her friends.
