Metallica to Make Saudi Debut at Soundstorm Dec 14th
Marking a first for the kingdom, the iconic heavy metal band will play their classic tracks as well as songs from their latest album ‘72 Seasons’.
Metallica, one of the most iconic American heavy metal bands of all time, is about to perform in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever at MDLBEAST Soundstorm music festival on December 14th.
Joining world-class headliners like Chris Brown, David Guetta and J Balvin, Metallica will headline the opening night of the three-day festival. As foreshadowed by their released setlist, attendees can anticipate the performance of beloved tracks like ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’, ‘The Unforgiven’, ‘One’ and ‘Enter Sandman’. Metallica will also showcase songs from their latest album ‘72 Seasons’, including the title track and ‘If Darkness Had a Son’.
Metallica's show announcement was hinted at by a mysterious video dropped on MDLBEAST’s Instagram account, featuring an image of a black guitar set against the distinctive yellow and black backdrop from the cover art of ‘72 Seasons’.
