‘We Eat Mangos Vol.1’ Showcases Egypt’s Diverse Electronic Acts

Featuring eight Egyptian artists based in the United Kingdoms and Canada, ‘We Eat Mangos Vol 1’ is a flavourful compilation released under the digital label I Eat Mangos.

Started in 2022, I Eat Mangos stems from the frustration incurred while waiting for extended periods on other labels, enduring stagnant release timelines. The label has since launched a total of eight releases and 25 original tracks on platforms like Beatport. In an effort to expand the label’s activities and reach, the label collected and assembled music from various artists whose sounds match the label’s musical style.

The compilation features a wide repertoire of genres, spanning breakbeat rhythms, minimal grooves, garage jams, psychedelic-infused downtempo and more. Drawing from a large repertoire of artists, ‘We Eat Mangos Vol 1’ features the likes of Adam, Fady, Shunus, Kaamzs, Joey, Saharty, Frogmoose and R!PT!DE X GHEE-K.
