Michael Cinco to Make His North Coast Debut at Al Alamein This August

Renowned Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer, Michael Cinco, is set to make his Egypt debut this August at the inaugural edition of the North Coast’s Al Alamein festival. The show - organised by Posh Management in collaboration with Counsel Masters, Skydive Pharaohs, and Al Alamein Arena - is scheduled to take place at North Square during the fifth week of the festival, from August 24th to August 31st.

Known for his fascination with ancient Egypt, Cinco proudly embodied and employed similar sentiments in a collection dubbed ‘The Impalpable Dream of Egypt’. The Arab Fashion Week line skillfully paid homage to the ancient history of Egypt, from its rulers to its remnants, drawing on the historical and cultural legacy of Pharaonic art and embroidery.

Cinco's award-winning designs have been sported by celebrities worldwide, including the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. His star-studded roster of clients further epitomise his acute focus on decadent embellishments and thoughtfully crafted silhouettes. Cinco’s most recent collections, as seen above, overtly blend his haute couture origins with meticulously crafted menswear, exhibiting an array of muscle tailoring, storm collars and oversized drop shoulders.
