A new bus service has been launched between Ras Al Khaimah, a tourism and adventuring destination in the UAE, and Musandam, an Omani governorate known for its mountainous peninsula and rugged coastlines.
From the UAE, the service begins at Al Dhait South in Ras Al Khaimah, and will make two stops within the emirate at Al Rams and Shaam area before arriving at Musandam.
In Musandam, meanwhile, the service will begin and end at Wilayat of Khasab, with stops at Tibaat, Wilayat of Bukha, Harf and Qada.
Travel time for the bus service is approximately three hours long, with one-way tickets costing Dh50. Residents and tourists will be able to book their seats through the RAK Transport Authority's website, the RAKbus app, at the bus station as well as on board the bus itself.
The service is part of the RAK Transport Authority's 2023 to 2027 strategy to improve public sustainable transportation in the area.
