Rotana’s Sea Beach Hotel, Edge, Brings a Bold New Look to Sharm

The Edge by Rotana brand is coming Egypt for the first time, reintroducing the Sea Beach Hotel as a sleek, reimagined resort that fuses modern elegance with the untamed beauty of the Red Sea.

With a 704-key expansion in the works, the property is undergoing a complete transformation.

The existing 470 rooms are being fully renovated, while a brand-new extension will add 234 additional rooms and suites, elevating the hotel into a next-generation beachfront retreat.

Yet, beyond its sheer scale, Sea Beach Hotel, Edge is shaping up to be a statement of Rotana’s ambitious vision for Egypt.

Sharm El Sheikh has always been a magnet for sun-seekers, divers, and nightlife chasers, but Rotana is turning up the heat with a property that blends cutting-edge design with an immersive coastal experience.

A 250-metre private beach stretches along the coastline, while a one-kilometre jetty extends out into the sea. Five pools will be spread across the property, offering spaces for both relaxation and high-energy aquatic experiences. At the heart of the resort, a state-of-the-art aqua park will introduce 28 slides, ensuring that adrenaline-seekers have just as much to look forward to as those seeking uninterrupted tranquility.

As one of the Middle East’s most influential hotel groups, Rotana’s expansion into Egypt is part of a broader strategy to bring its signature hospitality to key regional destinations. With over 100 properties across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, the group has set an ambitious target: 30 Edge by Rotana properties by 2027.
