Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud is producing the first non-English adaptation of a Stephen King book in Iran!
Massoud’s production company, Press Play Productions, is adapting ‘The Doctor’s Case’ by American author Stephen King. Titled ‘The Last King’, the film will be performed entirely in Farsi and will star an all-Iranian cast, including Maz Jobrani, Sheila Ommi, Marshall Manesh, and Tara Grammy.
‘The Last King’ is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
