Emirates SkyCargo Launches Dedicated Pet Transport Team
A dedicated team will manage pet transport bookings and documentation through to final handover.
A dedicated team has been introduced by Emirates SkyCargo to manage pet transportation requests in the United Arab Emirates, providing end-to-end support from initial booking through to final handover.
The service is designed to handle all enquiries and bookings with a focus on urgency and coordination, particularly as flight schedules remain subject to change.
The booking process begins with securing space on a flight, followed by an initial quotation based on the animal’s weight and seat availability. Once the quotation is accepted, pet owners are required to complete documentation at least 72 hours before departure.
Required documents include photographs of the pet, vaccination records, microchip information and health certificates, alongside destination-specific approvals such as those required for entry into the European Union or the United Kingdom. Additional permits may be required depending on the breed and destination.
The team will also support customers through documentation checks, regulatory approvals and final travel instructions once bookings are confirmed.
