National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation Holds Exhibit for Tintin

If you've ever followed 'The Adventures of Tintin' - the comic book series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé, featuring the titular journalist, his loyal dog Snowy, and a colourful cast of characters on their world-trotting escapades - you'll be able to take part in its latest expedition to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization!

In cooperation with the Embassy of Belgium and Tintinimaginatio, a Belgian company that protects and promotes the works of  Hergé, the museum is hosting a temporary exhibition for the iconic comic, with a special focus on Tintin's misadventures in Egypt.

The exhibition features a volume of The Adventures of Tintin titled 'Cigars of the Pharaoh', which Hergé wrote and drew after being inspired by the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of this historic discovery, children will be able to embark on their own archaeological quest with the 'Tintin Adventure Trail' and uncover the treasures of Tutankhamon's tomb for themselves.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation is currently holding the exhibition until December 22nd.
