Red Bull Car Park Drift World Finals Comes to Egypt for the First Time
For the first time in Egypt, the world finals of the Red Bull Car Park Drift is inviting speed enthusiasts from around the region to come to Cairo’s Al Manara Arena on November 5th.
For the first time since the Red Bull Car Park Drift careened its way through Lebanon in 2008, the high-octane international event is holding its world finals in Egypt. With dramatic displays of drifting that would make the cast of The Fast and The Furious blush, the world finals is inviting speed enthusiasts from around the region to come to Cairo’s Al Manara Arena on November 5th.
The world finals will feature Haitham Al Hadidi, the Omani drifter who grabbed first place in 2016 at the age of 18, earning himself the title of youngest prize winner at the competition. Hailing from Egypt are well-known drifters Hisham Al Khateeb, Omar Saqr, Ahmed Farrag, and Youssef Sayed, who may just bring Egypt its first international title.
Since 2011, Egypt has hosted Red Bull CPD’s local races in various locations like Porto Marina, Cairo Stadium, Smart Village, Porto Sokhna, Cairo Festival City, and Al Manara International Conference Center.
