Ministry of Sports Launches Contest to Rename Youth Centres

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has launched a competition to rename youth centres across Egypt, in a push to encourage the general population to participate in the country’s development.
The competition is part of a wider plan to develop these youth centres, and transform them into fully equipped community hubs.
An outline was devised for the development of these youth centres based on collected data from urban and rural areas, as well as regions populated by expats. When complete, these hubs will provide their communities with a medical centre, a creativity centre, an arts and culture space, a community service club, and two units dedicated to events and activities by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
