Azza... Gaza: 13 Sudanese & Palestinian Films Screening in Cairo

Filmlab Palestine has announced a new screening programme titled ‘Azza… Gaza’, bringing a curated selection of Palestinian and Sudanese films to audiences in Cairo in collaboration with Zawya Cinema and Cimatheque.

Produced in solidarity with Palestinian and Sudanese people, the programme brings together works that reflect on war, displacement, loss, and resistance.

The selection foregrounds voices from both countries, placing personal stories alongside broader political realities.

The programme is a joint initiative by Filmlab Palestine, the Sudan Film Factory and Zawya Cinema, with support from the Network of Alternative Arabic Screens (NAAS).

Screenings are being held simultaneously in Ramallah, Cairo and Nairobi. In Cairo, Zawya Cinema is hosting daily screenings from December 19th to December 24th, with all screenings starting at 7:00 PM.
