Donia Samir Ghanem & Mohamed Mamdouh Co-Star in 'El Guardaya'

Egyptian superstars Donia Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Mamdouh will share the silver screen for the first time in a new romantic comedy film, ‘El Guardaya’.

Directed by Ahmed El Gendy and written by Karim Youssef, the film will see Donia take on the role of a bodyguard who has been tasked with protecting Mamdouh’s character. Wait, who’s guarding who? While the rest of the film’s cast has yet to be revealed, filming is scheduled to begin within the next few days.

Donia’s latest cinematic work was the comedy film ‘Tasleem Ahaly’ in 2022, which saw her co-starring alongside her late mother and Egyptian veteran actress Dalal Abdelaziz,  as well as Egyptian comedians Beyoumi Fouad and Hesham Maged.
