Hoda El Mufti to Lead New Ramadan 2025 Series

Egyptian actress Hoda El Mufti is set to lead a new series for Ramadan 2025, which will air on MBC in a 15-episode format.
The new series will be directed by Kawthar Younish, who is famed for her work on the film ‘Maqsoum’, with a script by Ghada Abdel Aal, the screenwriter behind the hit Egyptian Netflix series ‘Finding Ola’.
One of El Mufti’s most recent projects, ‘El Habayeb Restaurant’, saw her share the screen with Ahmed Malek. Directed by Essam Abdel Hamid, the miniseries - which follows a chef who reopens his family’s restaurant - was scripted during a narration workshop led by renowned writer Mariam Naoum.
