Sleeping Beauty Ballet to Light Up Zabeel Theatre on June 28th
The show retells Sleeping Beauty through a mix of dance, visual effects, and modern stage technology.
Dubai’s Zabeel Theatre will host a contemporary take on the classic ballet ‘Sleeping Beauty’ on Saturday, June 28th. Titled ‘We Call It Ballet – Sleeping Beauty’, the production brings together choreography, lighting design, and digital visuals to present the well-known story with a modern twist.
Created by Maria Farelo and Cristian Perez, the show follows the familiar narrative of a young princess under an enchanted sleep, and the prince who journeys to wake her. The performance features a cast of local dancers in glow-in-the-dark costumes, using light and movement to reinterpret the tale for a new audience.
Tickets range from AED 139 to AED 259 and are available via the official VisitDubai website.
