RiseUp Summit '24 Will Be Held at Grand Egyptian Museum This May

RiseUp Summit - the largest entrepreneurship event in the MENA region - will return to the Grand Egyptian Museum from May 16th to the 18th, after a highly successful showing that saw thousands of attendees engage with prominent speakers from around the globe and interact with hundreds of exhibitions from the region's most up-and-coming startups at the museum's courtyard in 2023. This year, under the shadow of the Great Pyramids of Giza, RiseUp Summit '24 will once again invite over 350 speakers to share their knowledge and experiences, and more than 300 startups to showcase their products and services, at what might just be the most tech-enabled edition yet.

The theme of the summit will be focused on strengthening the roots of our shared ecosystem, powering through a tumultuous year for the region, and uniting in our shared principle to empower our community. In spite of the difficulties the region has experienced all year, RiseUp Summit has been organised as a space for entrepreneurs to recalibrate and reposition themselves for greater growth into the future. To that end, the summit will highlight four stages - the Capital Stage, Tech Stage,Creative Stage and the all-new Ecosystem Stage - to spotlight a diverse array of compelling and cutting edge topics, from Emerging Tech Growth, AI and Sustainability, to Smart Capital, Grow and Societies of the Future.

RiseUp Summit '24 will also have a zone related to each of these aspects of the startup ecosystem: the Creative Zone will feature art exhibitions, fashion shows and a creative marketplace; the Tech Zone will showcase some of the newest tech in AI and Virtual Reality; and the Capital Zone will feature some of the region's biggest financial institutions.

With the introduction of the Ecosystem Stage, RiseUp Summit will be dedicating a space to Egypt’s ecosystem and its own burgeoning startups. Located within the Startup Zone, which showcases all the startups and HIPOs at the summit, the Ecosystem Stage will allow figures from Egypt’s local marketplace to tell their story, talk about the challenges they face, and advocate for the importance of buying local within Egypt and the MENA region.
