Tesla to Launch in Saudi Arabia with Riyadh Event on April 10th

Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla is set to officially launch in Saudi Arabia on April 10th with a public event at Bujairi Terrace in Riyadh. The company will showcase its global lineup of electric vehicles alongside its latest advances in solar energy, autonomous driving and robotics.

The announcement was made via Tesla’s official website and social media platforms, inviting the public to “step into a world powered by solar energy, sustained by batteries, and driven by electric vehicles.” Highlights of the event will include demonstrations of the Cybercab—Tesla’s autonomous ride-hailing concept—and Optimus, the company’s humanoid robot, marking its first such exhibition in the Kingdom.

Tesla’s entry into Saudi Arabia comes as part of its broader regional expansion, with existing operations in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Jordan. The Texas-headquartered company, founded by billionaire Elon Musk, designs and manufactures electric vehicles, battery storage systems and solar energy technologies.

The launch aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of diversifying its economy and investing in clean energy and smart mobility solutions. The Kingdom has been actively working to expand its electric vehicle infrastructure and attract major automotive players to its market.
