35 New Parks to Open Across Dubai by End of 2026

Thirty-five new parks are set to open across Dubai by the end of 2026, covering more than 340,000 square metres and serving 23 residential communities.
The projects are being developed by Dubai Municipality with a total investment of AED 348 million (USD 95 million), as part of the Dubai Parks and Greenery Strategy and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
Park locations have been selected to ensure accessibility, with each site positioned within a five-minute walk of surrounding neighbourhoods. The parks will be open and unfenced, designed to integrate with nearby communities and reflect local character.
According to officials, the developments incorporate climate-responsive features and resilient infrastructure, supporting long-term usability in the city’s environmental conditions. Facilities across the parks will include children’s play areas, sports amenities, running and cycling tracks, and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for community use. Plans also include social and food and beverage areas, alongside shaded seating, picnic zones and water features.
In total, the portfolio will include more than 60 children’s play areas, 18 football fields and 20 multi-use sports courts, as well as skate areas and open green spaces.
