Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 to Focus on Climate Finance

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 will take place from January 11th to 15th in Abu Dhabi, bringing global leaders together for a programme spanning energy, water and climate, with a dedicated focus on climate finance and investment pathways. Organised by Masdar, the week combines public forums with invite-only meetings at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and across the city. The programme opens with the International Renewable Energy Agency Assembly on January 11th to 12th, followed by the official opening ceremony on January 13th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre featuring a keynote by Dr Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar, alongside the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards ceremony. Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit will run on January 13th to 14th, gathering high-level attendees to focus on collaboration, investment and innovation, while Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Dialogues will convene across January 13th to 15th. The World Future Energy Summit will take place from January 13th to 15th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, featuring more than 800 global brands, the Greenhouse start-up zone, the Fuse AI cleantech pavilion and the debut of the Greenpeace Cinema. Youth 4 Sustainability Forum and Hub will run from January 13th to 15th, while the Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy Forum is scheduled on January 14th. Additional platforms include the Global South Utilities Forum on January 14th, the Blue Forum on January 15th, the Green Hydrogen Summit on January 15th and Investor Connect on January 15th. A climate finance focus will be advanced through the Global Climate Finance Centre Annual Meeting held during the week in Abu Dhabi. According to the official programme, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week typically hosts more than 50,000 attendees from 175 countries, alongside over 3,000 delegates from government, business and civil society, and has seen participation from more than 70 heads of state, ministers and royal leaders in previous editions. Registration details and attendance options vary by event, with several sessions open to the public and others accessible by invitation or application.
