Ain Sokhna’s Inaugural International Short Film Festival Opens in June
Over 40 films have already been submitted, with the festival accepting further short films until the end of April.
The inaugural edition of Ain Sokna’s International Short Film Festival is set to take place on June 7th to the 14th, with films from across the region vying for prizes in several categories.
The festival’s jury is set to include big names in filmmaking from across the world, who will use their expertise to judge the creme-de-la-creme of global short films, bestowing awards for several categories including writing, acting, directing and photography.
Submissions remain open until the end of April, and competition will be tough with over 40 films having already been submitted since March 1st. Films received so far include submissions from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Iraq, Tunisia and Syria, promising an eclectic mix of stories from a broad range of genres and styles.
