Ajman Law Establishes Rental Dispute Resolution Centre
The centre replaces the Rental Disputes Committee and will fast-track landlord–tenant cases across the emirate, including free zones.
Renters and landlords in Ajman will soon have a faster route to resolving rental disputes, following the establishment of a new specialised centre designed to streamline how cases are handled across the emirate.
The Rental Dispute Resolution Centre replaces the existing Rental Disputes Committee and will serve as the single authority responsible for settling landlord–tenant cases, including those involving properties located in free zones. The centre is intended to accelerate litigation procedures through clear and standardised processes aligned with approved legal and judicial practices.
The framework governing the centre was set out under Law No. 1 of 2026, which introduces a unified approach to rental dispute resolution. Its jurisdiction spans all rental properties in Ajman, consolidating case handling under one body to reduce delays and procedural overlap.
The move is aimed at strengthening the legal structure regulating rental relationships, enhancing transparency, and ensuring prompt outcomes for both parties. By improving efficiency in dispute resolution, the centre is expected to support stability in Ajman’s real estate market and reinforce confidence among residents and investors alike.
