Amr Diab Fined EGP 200 & EGP 10,000 Compensation for Slapping Incident

Following Egyptian artist Amr Diab’s referral to the Misdemeanor Court by the New Cairo, Diab was charged with the assault of a man he slapped during a private concert at a wedding in Cairo in June 2024. He was fined EGP 200 and EGP 10,000 compensation to the man Saad Osama.

The court also acquitted the young man, Saad Osama, of the charge of assaulting the artist Amr Diab at the party, after he confirmed during the investigation that while taking a picture with Diab, he slapped him and scolded him in front of the attendees. Meanwhile, Diab accused Osama of harassing, provoking, and assaulting him during the party.
