Arab Conference on Intellectual Property to Be Held in Sharjah
Experts from global organisations including the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), and Interpol will join academics, researchers, and students from across the region.

The University of Sharjah will host the Fourth Arab Conference on Intellectual Property from September 23rd to 25th, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University.
Organised in collaboration with the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO), the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, and the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, the conference will address how digital technologies and artificial intelligence are reshaping the protection of intellectual property rights.
Over three days, the agenda will feature seven scientific sessions and panel discussions, tackling topics such as international IP agreements, challenges of digital transformation, AI in intellectual property protection, the role of media in raising awareness, and integrating IP into academic curricula.
Experts from global bodies including Interpol, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), and international patent offices will join regional specialists, faculty, and students from across Sharjah’s colleges. The event aims to strengthen legal frameworks while encouraging innovation and fair use of intellectual works in an increasingly digital era.
