Barkfest Lets the Dogs Out at Barasti Beach on December 13th

Barkfest by Feastival, one of the UAE’s biggest dog friendly festivals, is heading to Barasti Beach in Dubai on December 13th for its first ever beach edition. The event runs from 1 PM to 9 PM and features a full programme of activities for pets and their owners. The festival will offer beach access, an off leash zone for dogs of all sizes, cabanas and loungers, and a kids’ area. The first 100 dogs to arrive will receive a branded towel sponsored by Royal Canin and The Pet Shop. A highlight of the day is the Dog Show, held from 4 PM to 6 PM, with categories like Best Paw Shake, Scruffiest Dog and Best Puppy. All participating dogs receive a rosette, with prizes awarded to the winners. Visitors can browse a Christmas market featuring more than 20 pet focused vendors, while Barasti will provide food and drinks throughout the day. A VIP lounge hosted by Pearl Rosé will also be available for guests. Santa will appear between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM for festive photos, followed by a Christmas tree lighting and carol singers. Entry costs AED 20 when booked in advance or AED 30 at the door. Dogs and children under 12 can enter for free. Organisers request that pets be social, vaccinated and comfortable around other animals.
