Dubai Mall Welcomes Record-Breaking 111 Million Visitors in 2024

Dubai Mall broke its own attendance record with more than 111 million visitors in 2024. This figure surpasses the previous record of 105 million visitors set in 2023 and marks the second consecutive year the mall has welcomed over 100 million visitors.

Since recording 88 million visitors in 2022, the mall has seen a significant surge in footfall. As one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, located beneath the Burj Khalifa, it continues to be a leading attraction for both tourists and residents.

Covering 13 million square feet, Dubai Mall holds the title of the world’s most visited shopping mall with over 1,200 retail outlets, and more than 200 food and beverage options.

In addition to its retail and dining options, Dubai Mall is home to several popular attractions, including the world’s largest mall aquarium, an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a 24-screen cinema complex. Its recent expansion includes a Chinatown district, featuring a large food hall and spa facilities.

Plans are already underway for further growth, with a AED 1.5 billion expansion project set to add 240 luxury retail and dining outlets.

Dubai Mall has also introduced paid parking for extended stays, charging visitors after four hours on weekdays and six hours on weekends.
