Dubai’s Month of Movement Is Back: Here’s What to Expect from DFC 2025
With a sharper focus on community and some new moves in the mix, Dubai Fitness Challenge returns this November.

It’s been nearly a decade since Dubai asked its residents to move for 30 minutes a day, every day, for 30 days - and somehow, the challenge keeps evolving.
This year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge runs from November 1 to 30, marking its ninth edition with a few upgrades. Yes, the core remains the same - thirty minutes of daily activity, any kind, for thirty days straight - but the surrounding energy is shifting.
DFC 2025 arrives in the middle of the UAE’s “Year of the Community”, which feels apt. It’s about how movement creates momentum - social, cultural, even civic. Over 13 million people have taken part since 2017, and the city has leaned into that rhythm.
Expect familiar fixtures like Dubai Ride and Dubai Run, but also a few new additions, including a large-scale sunset yoga session to wrap the month. All events are free, open to all fitness levels, and sprawled across the city’s public spaces, parks, and streets.
