Egypt's Health Ministry to Transfer 36 Newborns from Al Shifa Hospital
Israeli Occupation Forces launched a targeted attack earlier today inside Gaza's largest hospital, Al-Shifa.
Israeli Occupation Forces launched a targeted attack earlier today, Wednesday, November 15th, inside Gaza's largest hospital, Al-Shifa, where approximately 650 patients and 5,000 to 7,000 displaced civilians are trapped. The hospital is now deemed inoperative due to a lack of fuel, and conditions have rapidly deteriorated amid the escalated genocidal war.
Doctors are sounding alarms about a catastrophic situation affecting patients, staff, and those who remain displaced within the facility. In a statement posted online, the Israel Occupation Forces said it had begun "a precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specified area in Shifa Hospital."
Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Health, confirmed that Egyptian officials are working to transfer 36 newborns from Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza to Egypt in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society informed Abdel-Ghaffar that they are trying to place three children in one incubator because they lack the energy resources to support them. The Egyptian Red Crescent is reportedly ready at the Rafah border crossing to receive the children.
