Egypt’s Zad Al-Ezza Aid Trucks Resume Entry into Gaza
The convoy entered through the secondary gate of the Rafah land port after a two-day pause, delivering essential supplies including food, water, fuel, medical equipment, and shelter materials.
The Zad Al‑Ezza aid convoy, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent in July 2025, has resumed entering the Gaza Strip, delivering essential supplies including food, water, fuel, medical equipment, treatments, and shelter materials.
The convoy entered through the secondary gate of the Rafah land port after a two-day pause and continued toward the Karm Abu Salem crossing in the southeast of the territory. To date, more than 36,000 trucks carrying roughly half a million tons of humanitarian aid have reached Gaza, supported by around 35,000 volunteers.
On October 9th, 2025, Hamas and Israel agreed to the first phase of a ceasefire and peace framework intended to end the war in Gaza. The deal, presented by US President Donald Trump as the first step in a 20-point peace plan, sets a framework for future talks on governance and statehood. However, several unresolved issues remain, including Gaza’s administration, demilitarisation, and post-war reconstruction.
