Farrah El Dibany Awarded in London Arabia’s ‘Arab Women of the Year’

Egyptian mezzo-soprano Farrah El Dibany has been named as one of London Arabia’s ‘Arab Women of the Year’ in recognition of her contributions to cultural exchange.

Based in Paris, the opera singer frequently ties together the artistic worlds of Europe and the MENA region. She was previously awarded for her efforts by being recognised as a Chevalier of France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, presented by the French Ministry of Culture, in 2022.

London Arabia celebrates Arab women who achieve international success across various fields. Notably, El Dibany is the sole Egyptian awardee for 2024. The award was previously extended to important Arab figures such as Egyptian actress Yousra and Lebanese singer Majida El Roumi.

El Dibany was also a speaker on a panel during the inaugural Arab Women's Summit, held at Lancaster House and organised by London Arabia. The award ceremony drew prominent figures from both Britain and the Arab world.
